We exist so ordinary people can get their own minds back by going to the quiet places, on purpose, often.

GOING SHOULDN'T NEED TO BE A BIG DEAL.
The outdoors had always been there — Army, hiking, training, being outside. Then life got busy in the ordinary way: Netflix, the phone, another weekend gone.
Going used to be automatic. Then it took effort.
FIVESIXTEEN is being built for that exact gap: the person who wants to get outside more, but doesn't need expedition gear, a summit or a set of credentials to be allowed outside.

THE FIRST PRODUCT
CONVERTIBLE BAGGY TECH PANT.
CURRENT PROTOTYPE INTENT
A baggy technical pant designed to work as a pant first and convert into a proper 7-inch short when the day changes. Technical enough for the track. Wearable enough for everything around it.

BAGGY BY DESIGN
Relaxed through the seat and thigh with a straight, full lower leg. No taper below the knee.

PANT → 7" SHORT
The finished short is designed around a 7-inch / 17.8 cm inseam rather than a traditional long hiking short.

CONCEALED CONVERSION
The conversion zipper is intended to disappear in pant mode, with a clean fabric welt remaining when worn as shorts.

THE ORANGE SYSTEM
Long orange belt tail, orange hem cords and orange detailing form one recognisable trim family.

It's Luke 5:16. Jesus would often slip away to the wilderness and pray. That's where the name comes from.
